in Salon 11

Talk Description

Why ISO & CSA nanotechnology health and safety standards are relevant to you?

As more workplaces are producing and using engineered / manufactured nanomaterials, more workers are at risk of being exposed to these unique substances. Come and find out: • What are the common health and safety risks when workers are working with engineered / manufactured nanomaterials, and what can you do to control these risks? • What ISO and CSA health & safety standards you should know about? A case study will also demonstrate on how consensus health and safety standards can help you address potential worker exposures and risks to engineered / manufactured nanomaterials.
