Zitin Lamba

Zitin Lamba is a Senior Manager at IBM’s Sustainability & Energy Transition practice in Canada. He focuses on leading multi-disciplinary teams to help companies develop transformational energy & mining solutions by focusing on long-term corporate initiatives, realizing improved production, margins and sustainability. Zitin is a professional mining engineer by training and has 10+ years of experience in the Mining & Energy sector, where he has managed engineering, operations & maintenance teams, delivering business improvements by using lean six sigma with industry leading companies. He is successful in developing solutions that resulted in decreased environmental impact, increased efficiency, and reduced costs. He has served on the board of Spark Credit Union and is a professional engineer and member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM) and Bow Valley Green Energy Co-op. Zitin holds a BASc in Mining Engineering from the University of British Columbia. Zitin is based in Calgary and enjoys exploring the numerous hiking trails in Alberta/British Columbia with his friends/family.
